Keep your group together—including your pet—at Opal Oasis. Our 4-bedroom, 3-bath home in Lower Grand Lagoon sleeps up to 12 guests and gives you a fenced backyard, private pool, and room to settle into your own vacation routine.
The beach is approximately a 4-minute walk away for people, but pet beach access needs a separate plan. Here is what to know when choosing the house and organizing your days with a dog.
A home base for people and pets
A fenced yard gives you outdoor space at the property between outings. Check the yard and gates when you arrive and supervise your pet; we do not promise that fencing will suit every animal.
Inside, the main house has a king primary bedroom, queen guest bedroom, family bunk room, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen. The detached upstairs suite adds another king bed, bathroom, kitchenette, and living area. There is a TV in every bedroom, plus two washers and two dryers for keeping up with your group’s laundry.
The suite and its deck are reached by exterior stairs. Use our property layout to see the main house, yard, pool, and upstairs suite before choosing sleeping arrangements.
Plan dog beach time separately
Pets are generally restricted on Bay County’s beaches. The designated Dog Beach is west of Russell-Fields City Pier, across from Pier Park—not the beach a short walk from Opal Oasis.
Visit PCB identifies beach accesses 56 and 57 for the leashed-dog area. Plan a separate trip there and follow the posted boundaries and leash requirements. Check Visit PCB’s pet-friendly information when planning.
Choose outings that work for your pet
A walk and a relaxed meal
Plan breaks around your dog’s normal routine. Before taking your pet to a restaurant, confirm that the specific outdoor seating area welcomes dogs; an outdoor table alone does not establish a pet policy.
Pack a leash, waste bags, drinking water, bowls, and your pet’s familiar food and bedding. Those basics make arrival easier while your group settles in.
Park and boat days need planning
St. Andrews State Park allows leashed pets in designated areas, including hiking trails and picnic areas, but restricts pets from the beach and other areas. Review the park’s current pet information before an outing.

Confirm the pet details before reserving
Tell us the number and type of pets joining your group and ask about the current pet fee and any size or other restrictions. Review the pet rules for your chosen booking channel before confirming the reservation.
The home’s private pool is one of its features; that does not establish permission for pets to use it. Ask about pool access for pets, furniture rules, and arrangements for leaving pets at the home so you can plan with the current terms.

The nearby beach is not the designated Dog Beach. Plan dog beach time at the marked area west of Russell-Fields City Pier across from Pier Park, and follow posted rules.
How many people can stay?
